Oriental Fruits Shines at APAS 2024

We are thrilled to announce Oriental Fruits’ successful participation in the APAS Show 2024, held in São Paulo, Brazil. This year’s event marked another significant milestone for our company as we showcased our premium range of fruits and vegetables, solidifying our presence in the Brazilian market. Our booth, organized by the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, attracted numerous visitors, fostering new business relationships and strengthening existing ones.

At APAS 2024, we highlighted our extensive product lineup, including our renowned frozen garlic and strawberries, which have already made a significant impact in Brazil. Additionally, we unveiled our plans to introduce grapes and Medjool dates to the Brazilian market, following an export agreement for grapes. The overwhelming response and interest from attendees affirm our commitment to delivering quality produce and expanding our footprint in Latin America.

Reflecting on Our Journey: Past Successes at APAS

Oriental Fruits’ journey at APAS began in 2022, marking our first foray into the Brazilian market. Our inaugural participation led to immediate success, with initial shipments of 75 tons of garlic and 50 tons of frozen strawberries. Encouraged by this positive reception, we doubled our efforts in 2023, exporting 700 tons of garlic and 300 tons of frozen strawberries. By August 2023, we had shipped a remarkable 1,000 tons of frozen strawberries and up to 1,000 tons of garlic, showcasing our growth and the increasing demand for our products.

This consistent performance can be attributed to the strategic agreement with Mercosur, which has enabled us to compete effectively in the Brazilian market. Our presence at APAS each year has been a testament to our commitment to excellence and our ability to meet the needs of a diverse and expansive consumer base.

Oriental Fruits, established in 2003, continues to prioritize quality and safety, holding certifications such as ISO 22000, Global GAP, and BRC, along with SMETA, GRASP, and BIO certificates. Our diverse product range includes citrus fruits, oranges, pomegranates, dates, garlic, onions, fresh and frozen strawberries, black-eyed peas, and snow peas, all of which have contributed to our growing success globally.

We look forward to building on this success and exploring new opportunities in the Brazilian market and beyond. Thank you to everyone who visited our booth at APAS 2024 and to our partners for their unwavering support. Together, we are making Oriental Fruits a name synonymous with quality and trust in the agricultural export industry.
